Directions:

1) From the 101 FWY take the Highway 217 (Ward Memorial Blvd) out to UCSB.

2) When you come to the roundabout, take a left.

3) Park in the first parking lot you see on your left. This is Lot 6 by the Marine Sciences Building. (See this map on the UCSB website http://www.tps.ucsb.edu/campusmaps.html)

Notes on Parking

* Never park in spots marked "A" or "S" unless you have a UCSB "A" or "S" parking permit.
* Monday through Friday before 5 PM, park in paid meter spots only.
* Monday through Friday after 5 PM and all day on weekends - Park in any spot that isn't marked "A" or "S".

Parking fees: You can buy a parking pass from the vending machine in the parking lot. The vending machine accepts cash or ATM. Park first, note your space number, buy your pass from the vending machine. Make sure you leave your parking pass on your dashboard
Parking is $3 per day and $12 per month.

After you park: As you face the ocean, there are stairs on the left hand side of the parking lot, near where the parking pass machine is. You can either walk down the stairs or walk down to the right of the parking lot and continue down the road that leads past the Marine Science buildings. If you access the beach using the stairs, keep in mind that sometimes the tide can come up and block access to the point.

Bathrooms and Showers: There are bathrooms and showers! They are on your left as you walk down the road past the Marine Sciences Building right before you get to the beach. Just ask someone if you don't see them.
